WHEREAS, the State of Georgia offers favorable tax incentives and benefits for companies, brought about by a conservative Republican majority;

WHEREAS, many of the companies that have taken advantage of the favorable treatment in Georgia are corporations that require shareholders to prove their identity and to own stock in the company to vote during shareholder meetings;

WHEREAS, many of the same companies condemned the Election Integrity Act of 2021 that was signed into law by Governor Kemp on March 25, 2021 , which allows for more access to voting than many other states;

NOW THEREFORE, the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia encourages the various companies that have thrived because of conservative Republican ideals to help foster those ideals instead of cravenly condemning them.

BE IT RESOLVED, the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia encourages Republican elected official s to terminate t he favorable tax incentives and benefits of such companies.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the 12th District Republican Convention be directed to make available a copy of this resolution to any company that continues to benefit from conservative Republican ideals.

WHEREAS, the 2020 election cycle brought unprecedented voter turnout and unprecedented erosion of voter confidence due to voter fraud on the local, state, and national levels;

WHEREAS, the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia condemns all persons that condone such erosion through malfeasance or misfeasance;

WHEREAS, the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia condemns the use of any process that promotes or enables fraud and the erosion of voter confidence;

WHEREAS, the General Assembly passed the Election Integrity Act of 2021 (SB 202) to restore voter confidence in the election process;

WHEREAS, the Election Integrity Act of 2021 was signed into law by Governor Kemp on March 25, 2021;

WHEREAS, the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia demands the state legislature and all state wide election officials to conduct a forensic audit, liken to the Arizona Audit, to fully investigate Georgia election results;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia hereby strongly denounces any attempt to undermine the election process and encourages the Governor and the General Assembly to stand resolute in their defense of free and fair elections.

Whereas, we who are here at today’s 12th District Republican Party Convention of Georgia, enjoy a Republican majority on the State level;

Whereas, such a majority would not exist without unwavering dedication;

Whereas, we the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia stand upon the shoulders of giants;

Whereas, we the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia acknowledge the giants that can no longer be with us;

Whereas, Peter “Pete” Caucci has served as Putnam County GOP Chairman, State Delegate, and National Alternate in New York;

Whereas, Peter “Pete” Caucci has also served as the Tift County GOP Chairman, Georgia Under 80k Chairman, and Coffee County Chairman, 12th District Delegate, and State Delegate in Georgia;

Therefore, the 12th District Republican Party of Georgia hereby recognizes the giant, Peter “Pete” Caucci and give thanks for his life long dedication to the ideals and values of the Republican Party, the 12th District, the State of Georgia, and the United States of America.
